Chatwork is a cloud business chat from kubell Co., Ltd. (formerly Chatwork Co., Ltd.), launched in 2011 for small and midsize companies. It combines group chat with tasks, file sharing and video calls, and outside partners join with free accounts.

Any request in a chat can become a task assigned to a member, and the chat is notified when it is done. A task view lists your assigned and requested tasks by due date.

The service holds ISO 27001, 27017 and 27701 certification and states that it follows the security standards of The Center for Financial Industry Information Systems (FISC). It runs on AWS with backups in Amazon S3 and supports two-step verification.

The free plan has no time limit but restricts message history, users, storage and calls, and shows ads. Paid plans come with a free trial. Upgrading covers the whole organization and cannot be reversed.

From the Standard plan, AI features summarize content, draft text, explain and analyze information, and create documents.

The API supports interactive bots and brings notifications from connected services into the chat. It connects with tools such as Backlog, Gmail and Google Calendar.

The Professional plan adds SAML single sign-on, IP address and mobile device restrictions, and chat log export.
