SeciossLink is an identity as a service (IDaaS) from Secioss Inc. for companies and universities, covering identity management, single sign-on, MFA and access control. It runs on AWS with data in Japan, and holds ISO/IEC 27017 cloud security certification. Traffic and passwords are encrypted; other customer data is stored unencrypted under access controls.
Its identity management syncs data with directories, databases and REST APIs and provisions accounts, groups and licenses to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and other services. The Education license lets universities use it as the identity provider for GakuNin, Japan’s Academic Access Management Federation.
Form SSO
For applications without SAML or OpenID Connect, the service fills in each user’s stored ID and password on the login form.
FIDO2
Passwordless sign-in uses passkeys on Windows Hello, Touch ID, Face ID or security keys.
Windows MFA
Secioss Desktop MFA, a free beta, requires a one-time password at Windows sign-in and unlock, even offline.
Device Certs
Access can be limited to devices holding a client certificate, with optional over-the-air delivery by IMEI or MAC address.
Zero Trust
With Enterprise and zero trust licenses, integrations distribute certificates to devices under unified endpoint management (UEM), block devices flagged by endpoint detection and response (EDR), and allow access only through a secure access service edge (SASE) gateway.
AD Sync
Accounts are imported on a schedule from Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, which connects over LDAPS or through a reverse tunnel.
Online credit card purchase and a free trial are available.
