wpX Speed is a WordPress-only cloud hosting service from XServer, Inc. It pairs NVMe SSD storage with a PHP setup tuned for WordPress, so pages load quickly at a flat monthly price.

Auto-scaling is the main draw. When traffic spikes, CPU and memory expand automatically so the site keeps responding, and you can also schedule an expansion ahead of a planned campaign. Each plan reserves dedicated server resources, so neighbouring sites on the shared hardware cannot slow yours down. Daily backups run on a rolling window and include WordPress database snapshots. A free SSL certificate and a free custom domain are included on every plan.

A Web Application Firewall (WAF) is turned on by default on all wpX Speed plans. It blocks common WordPress attack patterns, such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting, before they reach the site. Since it is built in, site owners do not need a separate security plugin for baseline protection.

wpX Speed is run by the XServer group, which also holds ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001:2013) and Privacy Mark certifications. That can help teams with internal compliance requirements.
