Shin VPS is a virtual server service from XServer Inc., run as a separate low-price brand alongside the company’s XServer VPS lineup. It targets cost-conscious individual developers, learners, and small teams who want a full Linux environment without paying a premium.

Every plan runs on AMD EPYC CPUs with NVMe SSD storage, giving disk-heavy web apps and databases fast I/O on entry-level hardware. There are two plan families: the standard Normal Plan, and a Balanced Plan (K Plan) that keeps the same CPU and memory but adds much more NVMe capacity for storage-heavier workloads. Ready-made OS images cover common Linux distributions, and a guided setup helps operators launch Minecraft game servers.

The control panel can capture a snapshot of the server disk at any time, so operators can back up before a risky change and roll back after a failed update. Support can also expand storage capacity on request.
