ConoHa VPS runs on GMO Internet Group infrastructure, provisions servers quickly, and backs them with an uptime guarantee. It serves individual developers, startups, enterprises, students, WordPress operators, and AI engineers.

The template library and startup scripts spin up preconfigured Linux distributions and application stacks (including the KUSANAGI WordPress environment) within minutes. Customers can pick hourly billing or longer-term contract discounts, and data transfer is not metered. A Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server integration also connects the service to AI agents.

ConoHa publishes an official Terraform provider, so DevOps teams can provision and version-control their servers declaratively rather than clicking through the control panel.

A GPU server tier handles AI inference, machine learning training, and other accelerated workloads.

The control panel saves a server’s disk image as a snapshot, with a free quota per region and additional capacity available for purchase. Snapshots double as backups, allowing rollback after a failed update or misconfiguration.

Windows Server plans run alongside the Linux lineup under a separate pricing structure, letting users host .NET workloads, Remote Desktop Services, or other Windows-only applications.

The main UI and customer support are in Japanese, but the global site, admin panel, and API documentation are partially translated into English for international teams.
