Remote Talk is a business chat from fonfun corporation, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market and holds ISO/IEC 27001 (ISMS) certification. It offers one-to-one and group chat with read status, and also suits emergency contact and checking that staff are safe. It runs in a browser and as Windows, Android and iPhone apps.
Only audit-role users can read and export chat logs, not administrators. An audit user exports every message for a chosen period and set of users as CSV, including attachments and messages the sender deleted.
Data is encrypted on the device, in transit and on the server. Sign-in is limited to users an administrator registers, and outside partners join as guests. Administrators can block sending or saving videos, images and attachments. The Standard plan alone adds IP address restrictions and device authentication.
Contracts are for corporations only, with no self-service signup. The person in charge stamps an application form with their seal and returns it as a PDF. After a review, activation takes a few business days. The free trial uses the same steps, and there is no free plan. Contracts carry a setup fee and a minimum user count, and payment is by direct debit or bank transfer.
