Shodo is a cloud-based AI proofreading service from ZenProducts Inc. It uses generative AI to check Japanese text for typos, particle errors, notation inconsistencies, and contextual mistakes. The AI editing feature lets users input background information about products or topics so the system can verify factual accuracy, not just grammar.

The platform works in a web editor, through Chrome and Edge extensions, and via add-ins for Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Teams can manage article drafts, track review status, share custom terminology rules, and publish directly to WordPress. Users can import notation rules from Excel or spreadsheets. Text submitted to Shodo is not used for AI training.
