Sakura Cloud Object Storage is a cloud storage service from Sakura Internet, one of Japan’s most established infrastructure providers. It stores data across two domestic regions (Ishikari and Tokyo) and automatically copies it between them for disaster recovery.
S3
The service uses an S3-compatible API, so existing tools like s3cmd, usacloud, or Terraform work out of the box. It also includes file versioning, encryption, and per-bucket access controls. Data transfers between Object Storage and other Sakura services are free.
EN
The control panel and documentation are primarily in Japanese, with partial English coverage for API documentation. Added on July 5, 2025
