NAVITIME API is a navigation and mapping platform from NAVITIME JAPAN that combines route planning, map display, and place search into a single API. It covers car, walking, train, bicycle, motorcycle, EV, taxi, and bus routing, along with tools for reachable-area calculations, map matching, and spot search. Separate API sets target logistics (automatic dispatch and multi-stop route planning), MaaS, and the automotive sector.

Contracts can be made directly with NAVITIME JAPAN or through API marketplaces (RapidAPI, SBI API Hub), and a free trial is provided.

A single query can combine rail, bus, walking, and taxi segments into a door-to-door route, with options for rain avoidance, stair-free paths, and barrier-free access.

Car route search includes large vehicle restrictions. EV-specific routes estimate energy use per segment based on the vehicle’s power consumption rate.

An optional severe weather alert API delivers earthquake, typhoon, tsunami, and landslide warnings from the Japan Meteorological Agency, searchable by location or address.
