Mapple API is a map platform from Mapple Inc. (Shobunsha), the publisher behind Japan’s Super Mapple road atlas and Mapple travel guidebook series. It bundles map display, search, car route search, and a tourism guide API that covers tens of thousands of sightseeing spots across Japan. The maps draw on decades of print cartography.

Offline use and print reproduction are available depending on the use case. A free trial is provided for evaluation.

Car routes can be filtered by vehicle width, height, weight, and hazardous material loading for logistics and construction vehicle dispatch.

A door-to-door route API combines walking segments with transfers from the nearest station into a single journey result.
