IIJ DNS Platform Service is a managed DNS hosting service from Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ), one of Japan’s largest internet infrastructure providers. It can act as both a primary and backup nameserver, and a separate Traffic Management add-on monitors server health and redirects traffic automatically when problems occur.

DNSSEC
DNSSEC is turned on by default, adding tamper-proof signatures to all DNS responses. Even dynamically generated responses from the traffic management service are signed.

ALIAS
ANAME records let users point a root domain straight to a CDN or load balancer, bypassing the usual restriction that only subdomains can use CNAME-style redirects.

Both the management portal and documentation are available in English.
