Soliton OneGate is an identity as a service (IDaaS) platform from Soliton Systems, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market. It combines SAML and OpenID Connect single sign-on, MFA and account provisioning for cloud services.
Device Certs
A built-in certificate authority issues client certificates automatically for directory accounts, limiting sign-in to known users and devices. MDM tools such as Microsoft Intune or a dedicated app deliver them. The same certificates authenticate Wi-Fi and VPN access through RADIUS with EAP-TLS, which needs a separately billed NetAttest EPS-edge appliance.
FIDO2
Other sign-in methods include FIDO2 passkeys and security keys, a smartphone authenticator app, face recognition (paid on every plan) and FeliCa contactless IC cards.
Windows MFA
Windows PC sign-in can go passwordless with the app, included in the Standard plan, or with face recognition.
Form SSO
For systems without SAML, the PasswordManager app fills in stored IDs and passwords.
AD Sync
Accounts come from Microsoft Entra ID, or from Active Directory through a Windows Server connector.
Zero Trust
Sensitive applications can require extra authentication. The Standard plan adds risk-based authentication, which flags unusual sign-ins by device, time and location.
ISMAP
OneGate is registered with the Information system Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP), the Japanese government’s cloud security assessment.
A secure browser blocks data export and wipes local data on exit. Contracts last at least a year, with per-plan user minimums.
EN
An English product page is available, and the Soliton Authenticator iOS app lists English.
