CloudGate UNO is an identity as a service (IDaaS) platform from International Systems Research (ISR), in service since 2008. It gives organizations single sign-on, MFA and access restrictions for cloud services such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. It runs from a Tokyo data center and keeps backups outside Japan.

Passkeys come with every plan at no extra cost. Users sign in without a password using Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, Android biometrics or security keys such as YubiKey.

The service blocks sign-in from devices without its certificate, which is issued inside the device’s security chip (a secure element or TPM) and cannot be copied.

Each cloud service sign-on is checked against the user’s security profile: rules on device, IP address, time of day and country.

For applications without SAML, the service enters each user’s stored ID and password on the login form.

From the Enterprise Plus plan, accounts sync with Active Directory and users sign in with Windows credentials over LDAPS. During AD outages or maintenance, cached credentials work for up to 48 hours after the user’s last successful sign-in.

Administrators provision users, groups and organizations. Orders go through ISR or a reseller, and published pricing applies in Japan only. New contracts on any plan need at least 100 IDs and a one-year minimum term.
