WebARENA IndigoPro is a cloud server service for businesses from NTTPC Communications, Inc., part of the NTT Docomo Business group. It runs Linux and Windows virtual servers, billed by the hour up to a monthly cap. It is the business tier of the low-cost WebARENA Indigo virtual private server (VPS) line.

Internet data transfer is free. NTTPC publishes a service level agreement (SLA) and monthly uptime results. If a server type is down for longer than the SLA allows in a month, NTTPC deducts that month’s fee for it from the next bill. When a physical host fails, its servers restart automatically on another host.

Every server gets a shared, best-effort 10 Gbps internet line and a fixed IPv4 address.

Customers can place servers in Tokyo or Osaka, so a system spread across both can recover from a disaster at one site.

Resizing a server does not change its IP address. Extra disks add storage, and a paid option backs up disk images automatically. A basic firewall filters incoming traffic, while an optional FortiGate security appliance adds a web application firewall, intrusion prevention and a VPN.

Sign-up is fully online with card or invoice payment, and a trial coupon is available. Day-to-day management happens in a browser control panel.
