Yahoo! JAPAN Mail is a long-established Japan-based email service operated by LY Corporation (Yahoo! JAPAN). It is fully hosted in domestic data centers and is available to anyone with a Yahoo! JAPAN ID.

The platform provides a secure and user-friendly webmail interface, accessible from both desktop and mobile browsers.

With IMAP support, emails are synchronized seamlessly across multiple devices and email clients. POP3 support for external services was discontinued in 2021 and is no longer available.

Custom domain names are not supported. All users receive an @yahoo.co.jp email address, and the service does not offer email hosting for custom domains.

Yahoo! JAPAN Mail is a widely adopted choice for personal communication in Japan, with a familiar interface, local infrastructure, and strong integration with other Yahoo! JAPAN services.

The interface and documentation are available only in Japanese.
