IIJ Document Exchange (DOX) is an enterprise online storage service from Internet Initiative Japan, built for securely sending and receiving files within and between companies. All uploaded files are automatically encrypted and scanned for viruses. The service holds Cloud Security and ISMAP certifications, qualifying it for government use.
The platform groups storage into project areas where administrators assign members and set how long files are kept before automatic cleanup. When paired with the IIJ Secure MX email service, attachments are automatically replaced with secure one-time download links, removing the need to send password-protected ZIP files by email. One-time upload links also let outside partners submit files without creating an account.
