SiteGuard WP Plugin is a WordPress security plugin from EG Secure Solutions Inc. (formerly JP-Secure), a Japanese web security company. It hardens the admin and login pages against automated attacks and helps block comment spam, and it works as soon as you install it.

The plugin pairs image CAPTCHA with several login defenses rather than relying on a CAPTCHA alone. It offers a hiragana CAPTCHA tuned for Japanese sites alongside an alphanumeric option, and it locks out an IP address after repeated failed sign-ins. Activating the plugin renames the login page right away so attackers cannot find the default WordPress URL, and the new address is sent to the administrator by email. A fail once option rejects the very first login attempt on purpose, which trips up automated password-guessing tools.

You install and run everything from the WordPress dashboard, with no server changes needed, so non-technical site operators can turn on protection themselves. The dashboard lists every defense with its own toggle, so you can switch each one on or off.

Open Source
The plugin is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2 and can be downloaded for free from WordPress.org for both commercial and personal sites. The source code is open for anyone to review, though the free version comes with community support rather than a formal warranty.

The interface is available in Japanese and English, switching automatically to match the language set in the WordPress dashboard.
