Activating the plugin renames the login page right away so attackers cannot find the default WordPress URL, and the new address is sent to the administrator by email. You install and run everything from the WordPress dashboard, with no server changes needed, so non-technical site operators can turn on protection themselves. The dashboard lists every defense with its own toggle, so you can switch each one on or off.
